About the event

Due to the approval of the Spanish Plan for Business and Human Rights by the Council of Ministers in July 2017, LAVOLA and Business and Human Rights (BHR) co-organize the conference "Corporate accountability for Human Rights".

The breakfast aims to offer a deeper understanding of what are the issues that Catalan SMEs should take into account today, as well as the challenges and opportunities ahead. Two workshops are proposed to work on this topic. On the one hand, the first workshop will delve into the process of due diligence on human rights, on the other, the second workshop wants to offer a more comprehensive knowledge on the implications for sustainability of communicating the measures taken in terms of Corporate Social Responsibility (economic, social and environmental).
